Turn your Mary Kay Invoice into a Gift Certificate

You give your Mary Kay Customers invoices on a daily bases, so why not secure your next sale at the same time? Big businesses do it all the time, and you can too. Have you ever checked out of a major online site like Amazon.com and after you make a purchase? They send you a coupon (or show you a code on the screen) in order to encourage you to shop more; all without being too pushy.

It’s super easy to do!

All you have to do is Write “As A Thank you for your purchase, you can use this referral code (write any referral code you like, it really doesn’t matter) for a (insert percentage) off any purchase made before (insert date).

It’s very important to put an expiration date for a sense of urgency. If you want to be really smart about your next sale then set a follow up reminder for the day that coupon expires.

You can call your customer on that day and say something like “Hi Sally, I have a note here that says you have a coupon expiring today; I’m running a special on (insert product you would like to sell). If you double them up, that’s a full (insert percentage off), but I can’t take the coupon if it expires tomorrow. Of course, you can use it for any product you like, are you low on your (insert product)”.

Voila! Sold! … well, it doesn’t always work, but you will be amazed at how much of an impact a double coupon will have 😉
